There are innumerable websites which have uploaded their own version of views about the history and practice of Hindu/Vedic/Sanatan dharma, and have interpreted the ancient scriptures such as Vedas, Upanishads, the 6 books of Vedic philosophy, Mahabharata, Gita and Ramayana according to their belief.
This website is an attempt to present the pure Vedic perspective of the principles and practice of dharma today in a very practical and simple form, especially for those whose medium of communication and understanding is mainly English. Of course to keep the tradition and authenticity in mind Hindi and Sanskrit has been given as deemed appropriate.
Historically, the Vedas and the ancient literature which clearly conforms to the Vedic ideology were created/given to humanity with the intention of helping people live as useful beings for themselves, their families, society at large and advocated universal laws without any tilt towards any cast, race or religion. So, this website is an attempt to bring these universal laws and guidelines to make lives of everyone better.
According to Bhagwat Gita, there is nothing more holy than the true knowledge (4/38). Sage Manu, who gave us the first knowledge of laws governing society has clearly stated that of all the giving, the gift of knowledge is supreme (4/233). Similarly Sage Kapil who wrote the Samkhya School of philosophy has declared that, by knowing the Vedas and living life based on Vedic Principles, one can not only have a better world we live in, but can also achieve total freedom from all unhappiness and achieve salvation
